郑文彬油画展请帖

郑文彬简历

In 1956, Boon Pin graduated and spent another year practising at NAFA before he became a
full-time artist. He travelled extensively between Bali, Singapore, Malaya and Thailand,
sketching and painting on location, always in search for inspiration from the glorious
landscapes.

Boon Pin's participation in exhibition has been few - only four so far. It is perhaps
his disinclination towards publicity that kept his painting away from the galleries.
However, Boon Pin remains respected and admired by fellow artists in Singapore. His
paintings are exquisite realist works. His fluently executed brush accents give rhythm
to the flow of water; his vivid waves conjure the roaring sounds of the sea.

Tay Boon Pin has become one of the most accomplished Singaporean artists to emerge from
the fifties. It is never too late to appreciate the timeless brilliance in his work.
